Listed below are unique characteristics of the RHA Collection and Restylane; as well as examples of various treatment areas that can be provided by our licensed medical provider.

Many off-the-shelf dermal fillers use synthetic or manufactured materials, fat from your body, or animal substances. Types of dermal fillers include:

  • Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring aid in your skin. It gives your skin volume and helps keep it hydrated.
  • Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) is a filler consisting of a substance in your bones. Results from CaHA fillers last around a year. Deeper wrinkles respond well to CaHA fillers.
  • Poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA, is a substance that helps create collagen. The results of PLLA fillers can last up to two years or more.
  • Polymethylmethacrylate or PMMA filler contains collagen in tiny ball form that stays under your skin after injection. The balls give your skin volume and help keep it firm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Soft tissue fillers are injectable substances designed to add volume, contour, and plumpness to areas of the face that have lost volume due to aging or other factors.

Common areas treated with soft tissue fillers include the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines, under-eye hollows, and jawline.

Soft tissue fillers work by replenishing lost volume and stimulating collagen production in the skin. They are injected beneath the skin’s surface to add volume and smooth out wrinkles and lines.

Recovery time after soft tissue filler injections is minimal for most patients. Some swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site may occur but typically resolves within a few days.

Good candidates for soft tissue filler injections are individuals looking to restore volume, smooth out wrinkles, or enhance facial contours. It’s essential to have realistic expectations and be in good overall health.

During the treatment, your provider will inject the neuromodulator into the targeted muscles using a fine needle. Afterward, you may experience mild redness or swelling at the injection sites, but these side effects usually subside quickly.
